Ms. Eliana Fun Events Staff
Eliana was born in Thailand, and raised in China. She moved back to America at age 4, and has lived in McKinney, TX ever since. Eliana attends Founders Classical Academy of Prosper, where she has been on multiple sport teams and is the Vice President of the student council. She volunteers in her church’s children’s ministry every Sunday and loves babysitting and making kids smile. |
Mr. Josh Class Instructor
If you’re ever curious if Josh is working, all you need to do is listen. Josh is one of our loudest and tallest employee! He is an energetic and witty personality with over fifteen years of teaching and coaching experience. Josh is a certified middle school teacher who taught for two years before being deployed by the Army to the Middle East. Now, he plans to finish his Master’s Degree in Divinity at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and adjust to marriage life as he got married in January of 2023 |

Alpha Omega staff members are, first and foremost, hired based upon their morals, values, ethics, and overall quality as a person. They may or may not have a gymnastics background, but they do have a love in working with children. They have a great, kid-friendly, & fun personality that inspires their students for life-long adventures. All staff members undergo thorough screening and background check. Staff are trained through observation, shadowing, hands-on clinics, Alpha Omega University, and various online courses through USA Gymnastics, the US Olympic Committee, etc.

Greg Kester President/Owner/Board of Directors
Greg began his gymnastics career in 1981. He has been involved with all aspects of the sport. He has been a competitor, men's gymnastics judge, recreational instructor, competitive coach, business manager, and administrator. But most importantly, Greg is very passionate about working with kids and creating a very fun and exciting experience for them. In 2017, after 12 years, Greg decided to leave corporate america and return back to his life's passion. He partnered with his friends in Houston in order to bring a very high quality, fun, & exciting gymnastics program to McKinney, Frisco, and the surrounding areas. Greg resides in Allen. He was married to Catherine in 1992, has 3 daughters, and is known as 'Papa" to his grandchildren. He is a Deacon at his church and he enjoys spending his time off with family. |
Catherine Kester Co-Owner/Board of Directors
Catherine grew up in small farm town in Illinois. She attended the University of Illinois at Chicago where she earned a Bachelors in Social Work and also met Greg. She and Greg started working together at a gymnastics gym in Mesquite and then moved to the Plano/Allen area where she taught tiny-tot, preschool, and beginning girls gymnastics. She is the mother of 3 girls and known as "Nana" to her grandchildren. She has worked in and volunteered in various pre-school/childcare settings her entire adult life. She spent 8 years as a substitute teacher for middle and high schoolers, spending much of that time in special needs classrooms. She currently cares for her grandchildren and always spends extra time caring for elderly folks who need companionship and help with their affairs. |
Ms. Allie Program Director/Director of Human Resources/B.O.D.
Allie is Greg’s middle daughter (and she claims, his favorite). She grew up all around gymnastics and has always enjoyed the preschool and recreational side. Her Dad's judging career helped her develop a love for watching men’s gymnastics. Allie had always wanted to have a career that involves working with children. She currently works full time at AOG. Allie graduated with a degree in Child Development from Texas Woman’s University. Allie is married to Ben and her hobbies include watching movies, playing with her cats, and hanging out with family and friends! |
Ms. Linda Director of Accounts and Customer Service
Linda is a native Texan. Linda has a degree in Interior Design and Business. Linda has always loved sports and has enjoyed playing volleyball, softball, kickball and soccer. Linda is married to Bruce and has three children, two girls studying and one son. Linda met Greg and Catherine in 1996 at church and have been good friends ever since. Linda‘s hobbies include vacationing with her family, any outdoor activities, walking her dogs, using her creative brain when possible and watching her children progress through their lives. |
Ms. Jenn Director of Training/Department Manager, Xcel
Jenn was born in Manitoba, Canada but grew up in California. She started recreational gymnastics in kindergarten and continued her training in power tumbling and cheerleading with California Storm and Cheer Force Allstars. Jenn coached voluntarily for AIM-USA cheerleading from 2007 until 2011. She continued her coaching career at City of Davis Gymnastics and Dance from 2011-2015, coaching toddler gymnastics, boys and girls school-aged gymnastics, and high school cheerleading private lessons. Jenn attended the University of California, Davis, graduating with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. She moved to Texas shortly after to pursue her masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Texas and now works as a mechanical engineer for a medical device company. Her hobbies include running, cycling, and camping. |
Ms. Erin Director of Marketing/Front Desk Manager/Staffing Manager
Erin is Oklahoma born and Texas raised. She grew up volunteering with any and all Children’s Ministry programs at church. She has spent the past couple summers working at summer camps where she helped create a safe, fun and rewarding environment for them. She graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University with a Bachelor's in Camp Administration and a minor in Business Administration. During her time there she was their mascot, Shaz the Bison. In 2019, she traveled with the OBU Cheer team to Daytona, Florida for the annual NCA competition where they won first place. She is a NCA All Girl Advance D2 National Champion. She has grown up playing sports and has been around them all her life. Her favorite sports are baseball and football. She is energetic, diligent, and caring. She loves helping children reach and pursue their goals even when they think they are unreachable. She enjoys all outdoor activities, dogs, jeeps, and iced coffee. |
Ms. Mary-Kate Executive Assistant/Front Desk Manager
Mary-Kate has grown up helping and teaching kids through her mom’s job as a kindergarten teacher. From writing name tags to preparing the classroom for teacher's night, a passion for creating an environment for kids to have fun whilst learning has emerged. Mary-Kate has lived in Allen, TX all her life, playing softball and volleyball as she grew older. She loves to be able to bring smiles to kids faces whether be by cracking a joke or dancing silly. Mary-Kate is kind, encouraging and loving. But most of all, Mary-Kate is excited to see your kids having fun at Alpha Omega Gymnastics. |
Ms. Linda Department Manger, Tumble Bugs
Linda began gymnastics here in North Texas at age 14, inspired by Mary Lou Retton in the ’84 Olympics. She participated in the sport all through High School and upon graduation transitioned into coaching full-time. Early in my career she worked mostly with competitive teams, but soon found her true passion when she began working with recreational and preschool levels. She loves being inspired and learning new things that will help make her student’s experience in gymnastics a positive one. Her goal is to not only teach quality gymnastics, but to also bring a life-long love of the sport to her students. She feels every child, regardless of age, skill level, body type, or athletic ability; can achieve success when given the right instruction, support, and motivation. Over the years she has taken many different courses, some of which include: *Preschool Fundamentals, *Developmental Stages and Milestones, *Teaching Special Needs, *Visual, Auditory, and Tactile Learning, *Redirecting, *Music Inclusion and Thematic Teaching, and *Building Self-Esteem. Linda has also received certifications through USA Gymnastics in: *KAT: Kinder Accreditation for Teachers, *Fundamentals of Gymnastics Instruction, *SafeSport Trained, and *Safety and Risk Management. LInda is excited to be a part of Alpha Omega Gymnastics and “Inspiring Life-Long Adventures” for the AO community! |
Mr. Michael Fun Events Manager/Staffing Manger
Michael has lived in Texas his whole life. He started working with children in 2017 by coaching tennis and golf through Frisco ISD. One of his favorite sports is golf. He played all the time with his family and friends growing up. Since 2020, Michael has been working full time at an elementary school in the resource team, helping and assisting students of all ages! He loves to tell stories and create unique tasks and games for kids. Michael enjoys spending his time traveling, crafting and working with kids. |
Ms. Carole Department Manager, Girl's Gymnastics/Junior Tumbling
Carole was born and raised right here in North Dallas. She began gymnastics in junior high and enjoyed competing in floor, beam, and vault for 3 years. Her love of dance then prompted her to try out for drill team, which she adored and she spent the rest of high school dancing. Carole loves kids of all ages! She has worked with and taught children since she was 19 and a student at UNT, where she earned a BFA in Visual Design. Carole has taught preschool, VBS, Upward Cheer, tumbling camps, art classes, and Youth Drama. She enjoyed her almost 20 years of substitute teaching in Plano ISD, where she began in elementary schools and spent the last 10 of those years in the high schools. She has been blessed to be a leader in her church youth group for years and enjoys being with her seniors on Sunday mornings. Carole is married to Philip and they have 3 adult daughters. Her family is her delight and joy! Carole’s girls grew up with the Kester girls and they have been friends with Greg and Catherine for over 20 years. She is so excited to join the AOG team and can’t wait to meet Seymour!! |
Ms. Rebekah Front Desk
Rebekah was born in CA, but has lived most of her life in TX. She is married to Michael, and they live in McKinney with their 2 children, Samuel & Naomi. Rebekah & Naomi were thrilled to learn about Alpha Omega Gymnastics’ open gym, through their homeschooling co-op, & jumped right in. Shortly after, Naomi joined the homeschool class at AOG and loves it! Rebekah loves spending time with her family. They enjoy playing games, going on camping trips & hiking. Rebekah grew up swimming to keep cool during the hot Texas summers, and still enjoys swimming today. She has enjoyed working with children of various ages over the years, through VBS programs, art camps, and currently with the youth ministry at her church. |
Ms. Vicki Fun Events Coordinator
Vicki is a Mid-West girl with her roots beginning in St. Louis, MO. She earned her Communications degree from the University of Rhode Island. She has worked in Public Relations and Marketing but found her true passion as an Activity Director planning events for the elderly. Vicki and her husband Paul have lived in McKinney for the past 16 yrs and have found it to be a wonderful place to raise their two daughters, Emma and Sara. In her spare time, Vicki enjoys being creative working on crafts, surfing Pinterest, and having fun hanging out with family and friends. |
Mr. Ty Xcel Team Head Coach - Roll'n Gym Owner
Ty was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and was raised in Allen, Texas. He attended Allen High School and trained under Yury Kartseve for several years at WOGA Plano. Ty attended the University of Oklahoma for his collegiate career, where he was a part of the 3 x Consecutive (2015, 2016, and 2017) NCAA and Club National Championship Teams. Ty started coaching girl’s gymnastics in 2011 and continued coaching at a local gym throughout his four years at Oklahoma. He graduated OU in 2017 with a Degree in Business Entrepreneurship and Venture Management. One week after graduating, Ty got married to his beautiful wife Lexie Paige. Once married, the happy couple moved back to Texas and Ty started his new job with a structural engineering firm, where he inspected residential and commercial foundations. He also coached elite level girls in gymnastics, helping his gymnasts achieve their Olympic and collegiate dreams. Ty and his wife have an young son who is growing up very fast , while bringing lots of joy everyday. Ty enjoy spending quality time with his family and friends, going up to their farm in Oklahoma, watching sports, and of course, anything BOOMER SOONER! |
Ms. Addy Training Lead/Class Instructor
Addy was born in Alabama and lived in Louisiana before moving to McKinney, Tx. She has been in gymnastics for over 10 years and competed on a team for 7 years. Abi was a part of the Xcel gymnastics program and was a state champion on the balance beam in 2017. Addy spends most of her free time with friends and enjoys watching soccer with her family. Addy was an exchange student during her junior year in Barcelona, Spain. She is currently a senior at Mckinney North High School. She is very passionate about gymnastics and is excited about sharing her passion with others! |
Ms. Abi Training Lead/Class Instructor
Abi graduated from Princeton High School in 2019. During her time there she was a part of multiple organizations like color guard, choir, wrestling, and athletic training. She currently goes to Collin Community College and is studying psychology to become a child psychologist. She loves children making them laugh and making them feel proud about any little accomplishment that they achieve in their lives. |
Ms. Katy Training Lead/Class Instructor
Katy was born in China and raised in Texas. She currently attends Allen High School and will graduate in 2024. Katy began doing competitive gymnastics in 2011. She is a 3 time All-Around State Champion. Her favorite event was the floor exercise because she loved to dance and perform. Katy is thrilled to be apart of AOG so that she can teach and spread her love for gymnastics to others. |
Mr. Sam Class Instructor
Sam has been in Texas his whole life, being born in McKinney and living in Lucas. His love for kids of all ages is evident with him volunteering to teaching 1 year olds and 2 year olds at church as well as 1st - 5th grade kids. Though his favorite sport is soccer, he really enjoys being with the kids, encouraging them to pursue a high goal. He enjoys helping kids achieve success. He got hired last summer for an internship in the Children’s Ministry. This was his first job experience and let him see how a business is ran and what is most important when working with kids: Safety. Sam attends college at the University of Texas @ Dallas and is working on his Engineering Degree. His hobbies include soccer, video games, playing board games with his family (and winning), as well as doing nerdy things. |
Mr. Troy Class Instructor
Troy is from North Texas and grew up in a gym with both his parents coaching gymnastics. He began taking classes with his dad at the age of 10, and started helping out at summer camps at the age of 12. Troy was born on the autism spectrum. In High School he successfully completed 8 months of experience in the Son-Rise Program as a volunteer therapist working one on one with a boy with Autism. The Son-Rise Program is a one-on-one play based therapy. When Troy is not working he enjoys spending time working on his Spread Good Community, and also hanging out with family and friends. |
Ms. Camila Class Instructor
Camila was born and raised in Texas. She is currently enrolled in and finishing online high school. During the day, Camila attends Joffrey Ballet School (Dallas) where she has been dancing since she got a scholarship in 2020. She has been doing ballet since 2010 and plans to continue dancing professionally with the Houston Ballet. Outside of dance and school Camila enjoys traveling, going on walks, and hanging out with her friends. |
Ms. Kristen Class Instructor
Kristen was born and raised in Plano Texas. She attended Plano Senior High School where she was a cheerleader for 4 years. Kristen also took power tumbling classes at various gymnastics centers while in Middle School and High School. Kristen graduated with a degree in public health and is currently earning a master’s degree. She also volunteered at a preschool teaching children the importance of being healthy through various activities. Her hobbies include drawing, traveling, and swimming. |

Ms. Kenzie Class Instructor
Kenzie was born and raised in Allen, Texas. She graduated from Allen High School in 2019, and was a part of Color Guard for 3 years. Kenzie is currently aiming to get her psychology degree while working on her music skills. She’s loved to sing for as long as she can remember. Kenzie began working with kids in 2020, and has enjoyed helping kids grow to become awesome leaders of the future. She is excited to continue to help kids be great kids in safe and fun ways! |
Ms. Imari Class Instructor
Imari was born in Illinois. Despite the financial obstacles, among other variables, she was able to begin gymnastics at the age of 6 and fell in love. Imari stayed in Gymnastics off and on and did compete in High School. Her favorite events were Floor Exercise and Vault. Imari moved to Texas in the early 2020's. She is so happy that she has found a home working at Alpha Omega Gymnastics. |
Ms. Ashleigh Seasonal Staff
Ashleigh was born in California but has lived most of her life in McKinney, Texas. She has always been involved with kids and sports. She played basketball for 6 years and then went on to dance for 4 years. She was also on her High School drill team, the Independence Royals, her senior year! Ashleigh currently attends Collin College in pursuit of her Teaching Degree. She has always had a passion for taking care of and teaching children. She is glad that she has the opportunity to enhance the lives of her students at Alpha Omega Gymnastics! |
Mr. Robert Seasonal Staff
Robert was born and raised in Allen, Texas. Robert is currently enrolled at Texas A&M University. He is in the Corps of Cadets and studying Kinesiology. He has played football, baseball, soccer, basketball, and ran track. Robert enjoys hanging out with family, friends and his dogs. |
Ms. Isis Fun Events Staff
Isis was born and raised in Illinois and at age 8 started her gymnastics career. She moved to Texas when she was 10 years old and continued gymnastics in McKinney. She worked her way up through the different USAG levels , up to level 8. When Isis was 14 she decided to try Cross Fit and Olympic Weightlifting, which were great transistions. She competed for 4 years, all the way through Nationals. After high school Isis began coaching gymnastics and cheer in various places. She coached recreational classes and assisted in Xcel team. Isis has been working with kids since the age of 14. She loves how gymnastics helps kids to grow in a fun & positve way! |
Ms. Shae Class Instructor
Shae has lived in Texas her whole life. She attends Allen Highschool and graduates in 2025. Shae's favorite sports are soccer and football. she has played soccer since she was 4 years old and continues to still play. Shae enjoys spending time with her family and traveling and playing sports. |
Ms. Emma Seasonal Staff
Emma graduated from Independence High School in 2021. She was involved in theater and executive student council. Currently Emma attends The University of Central Arkansas and is studying psychology and special education with hopes to become an occupational therapist. Emma is involved in the Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority, STUMO, and SPOT. Emma has a love for working with children and making them smile, she wouldn’t want to do anything else as a career. |
Ms. Skylar Class Instructor
Skylar was born and raised in Plano, Texas. She is currently a senior in high school and will graduate 2024. Outside of school Skylar likes to workout, go shopping, and watch movies. She is currently in dance for Allen High school. Skylar started gymnastics when she was 4 years old, then got into sideline and competitive cheerleading for 9 years. |

Ms. Valerie Board of Directors/Creative Assistant
Valerie is Greg's oldest daughter. She currently lives in Anna with her husband, Ryan, and children, Weston, Lauchlan, and Breslyn. Her love of gymnastics started as soon as she could move around and many of her childhood memories are in a gym. She did gymnastics competitively for years, and when she was old enough, began coaching gymnastics. She coached all levels of recreational and competitive gymnastics and tumbling during high school and college. She currently works in Real Estate and assists with all creative aspects of AOG. |
Ms. Macie Board of Directors
Macie, Greg's youngest daughter, has been around gymnastics her whole life. She started doing gymnastics at a young age, and even though she stopped, she still has a heart for it. Macie graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University, and is a 1st grade teacher. She has a love for teaching and for kids. Macie is very fun-oriented, sweet-minded, and diligent. She is always ready to step up when needed and to make sure everybody has a good time. Macie enjoys taking adventures, traveling, spending time with the people she loves, and being active. Being a gymnastics coach is something she had always wanted to do, and she loves it! |
Seymour Hiney Custodial Technician
Seymour has been special events custodian at Alpha Omega Gymnastics since 2017. Before then he was a lost soul. AOG is where he finally answered his calling in life. Seymour studied for 4 years (in the 8th grade) before realizing his potential. He then attended GU (Goober University) where he received his Bachelor of Goober with an emphasis on immature behavior. Seymour has secret aspirations of becoming a world class gymnast, even though he trains ZERO hours per week. He is, in his own eyes, already an elite level gymnast. Seymour is married to Sealess. Their children include Round, Red, Shiney, Phatt, Phlatt, & Lil. Say “HI” to Seymour the next time you see him, as he enjoys cleaning during the AOG Olympic Showcase and other sporadic events. |
